Melt & Massage Workshop 17th October 2024 6-8pm

In the beautiful grounds of Coombe Farm, Tenterden, join chandler Helen and massuese Becky with an indulgent and relaxing 2-hour Melt & Massage workshop. Between us we have spent years honing thier craft and are excited to impart their skills and knowledge and invite you to this fabulous workshop.

With Helen in the first hour, you will discover the art of creating 2 luxurious massage candles, learning about different waxes, butters and essential oils, as you craft personalised candles tailored to your senses. I will explain their benefits and demonstrate the process involved in making your own magnificent candles.

In the second hour; discover how to transform your creation into a soothing skin nourishing massage oil. Uncover the secrets of relaxation techniques by the lovely Rebecca Wissman who has spent years providing massage sessions in some of the best locations in Kent and genuinely amazing at what she does. You will learn to give a blissful hand & arm massage, leaving you and your loved ones feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. This hands-on experience is perfect for self-care enthusiasts or those seeking to create unforgettable moments of pampering. All ingredients are natural and safe to use on skin. All materials are provided, and you'll leave with 2 handmade massage candles and the knowledge to use them safely and enjoyably. Nibbles and refreshments will be provided. 

The 2 hour session includes:

Learning and making 2 massage candles (75g each) using coconut wax, shea and cocoa butter, castor oil and essential oils.

Understanding massage techniques with focus on the hands and arms, each participant will get a mini massage from Becky. This is a hands-on experience and we encourage participants to practice on themselves or other guests during the session. If guests would like Becky to massage another part like the shoulders, please inform Becky during the massage session. Please understand Becky will need to spend time on each guest.  Please also wear appropriate clothing for modesty and the use of warm oils on and next to fabric.

Please let me know of any food allergies and consult your doctor if you think essential oils may have an impact on any health conditions. Anyone who is pregnant or suspects a pregnancy please consult your GP, I do not use Clary Sage in this class.
